golden chorale is John Mitchell, based in Garner, NC. He creates ambient music with electric guitar, bass, synthesizers, tape machines and the computer. He also makes ambient synth music under the name midcentury modular, as part of the synth improv trio ops, and previously as a guitar/bass player in the bands Less Western and SMLH.
